Become a better energy healer by coming unto Christ

 January 20, 2020

Today’s post is all about helping you to become a better energy healer. One of the most important things that we can do as Christian energy healers is to strengthen our relationship with our Savior. Jesus Christ was and is the master healer. All of our gifts and our strengths and our healing abilities, everything that we have, everything that we are developing, it all comes through Him. He is our source that we want to be turning to and depend upon, as we are providing our healing to those that are coming unto us. We are basically the intermediary. So we want to be tuned in to Jesus Christ. He tells us in the Scriptures, to come unto him and to follow him.

As you’re working on becoming a better energy healer, I’m going to cover six things that you can do to come unto Christ. I also have two ways to do those things – two ways of ‘being’ as you practice these six things.

Watch the video, or read on!

#1 - Cleanse your body, heart, and mind

The whole point of this cleansing is to open us up so that we can receive the Spirit, which testifies of Jesus Christ. Having the Spirit is critical if you want to be a better energy healer.

We need to think about what we put into our body, not just physically in terms of food and drink, but what we allow to come into our body, in terms of media, music, what we read what we listen to. All of those kinds of things have a big impact on us.

Any media and food or drink is going to affect not just our physical body, but our heart and our mind and then ultimately, our spirit.

We need to cleanse our body, our heart and our mind. This makes us a more open vessel to receive the inspirations of the spirit and to better hear the voice of the Lord. He cannot come into places where we're not seeking Him and we're where we are not ready to receive.

If you want to become a better energy healer, here are a few things to consider about cleansing yourself...

First, think about and pay attention to the foods that you eat and the things that you drink.

If you are smoking, if you're drinking alcohol, if you're using any sort of illegal drugs, all of those things are going to negatively affect your body, your heart, your mind, your spirit, and they're going to make it much more difficult for you to hear the voice of the Lord.

Second, take an assessment of the music you listen to.

Does it welcome or chase away the Spirit? Are there lyrics that are hurtful, harmful, angry, negative, lustful or sexual? All of those things are going to interfere with your ability to connect with and to come unto to Christ.

Third, examine your habitual thoughts.

If you are thinking thoughts that are negative, that are judgmental, that are grasping and clinging, trying to focus on too much on the physical things of the world, to the detriment of your spirit, all of these things are going to push away the Savior and make it much more difficult for you to connect with him.

Now, there's a progression with these things. We are all at different stages along this path. And some foods for example, that might be okay for one person might not be okay, for another person, it's very individual. So as you're developing your relationship with your Savior, the point you're at today, is very different from where you're going to be a few months or a few years from now.

I would encourage you, at a minimum to remove cigarettes, alcohol, illegal drugs, caffeine as much as you can. Caffeine is a stimulant that depletes the energy of our body over time by draining our adrenals. And that makes us very difficult for us to connect with Christ as well.

I would also encourage you to pay attention to the movies that you watch, the TV shows that you watch and the music that you listen to. As well, the thoughts that are constantly running through your mind.

See where you need to do some weeding or some purging and replace those things with things that are more uplifting, more light-hearted, more full of love, so that you can allow your Savior to come in. All of these things will go a long way to helping you become a better energy healer.

#2 - Ask, Seek, and Knock

This basic commandment is everywhere throughout the scriptures. We are told over and over and over again, to seek and ye shall find, ask and it shall be given unto you, knock and it shall be opened (see Luke 11:9, Matthew 7:7).

But we have to do these things with faith, with a pure intent and an open heart and with goodwill, as the intention behind what we're doing. The Lord wants us and needs us to come unto him. It's not the other way around.

So to increase your capacity as a healer, you want to constantly be seeking after him, seeking after how you can improve yourself and how you can better help your clients. Your clients will all get better results as you become a better energy healer!

Ask what you can do on a daily basis to become a better disciple and a better servant so that you can better do the work that you have been called to do.

That's why you're doing this work. You've been called to do it by the Lord.

You've been given these gifts, ask Him and He will guide you.

#3 - Follow the commandments

Christ basically tells us to try him, to prove him by following the commandments.

If you're not sure that you really need to keep the Sabbath day holy, which is one that we don't see very often in our society anymore, then start keeping the Sabbath day holy, and see what changes happen in your life.

The only way to know if the commandments and the principles and the doctrine are true, is to put them into practice in your life.

So, go to the Lord in prayer. Take an honest assessment of where you are with following the commandments. See if there's anything that you can change or improve upon, that will help you come more unto your Savior.

#4 - Prayer

Prayer is how we connect with God. It's a wonderful way to communicate with him.

Prayer is not just about rattling off a list of things we want, though!

We need to do two things with prayer. The first thing is to pray regularly.

If you don't have a habit of regular prayer, at least in the morning in the evening, then you're losing that opportunity to come unto Christ.

The second thing with prayer is that we need to be humble and sincere.

If you're not sure if something is true, go to him and ask!

If you need to know what direction to go, go to him and ask!

These 6 things that I'm giving you on the list….you can't do all of them at once. Go to him and ask in prayer, which one should I focus on right now? Where do I need to put my efforts? You will get your answer.

#5 - Service

When you reach out to other people in love, that helps to soften your heart. Having a soft heart makes us more receptive to hearing the voice of the Lord and the promptings of the Spirit.

As you serve others in love, it softens your heart and helps you become a better energy healer.

Think about who you can serve and how you can serve them.

This does not have to be a huge outpouring of time or money. Start by looking within your own home. Look at your family members, your roommates, perhaps whoever you're sharing a space with.

Think about how you can better serve them and what you can do day to day to help those around you. Then you might feel impressed to expand out from there and to reach out to others.

But service has a way of taking our focus off of ourselves and softening our heart so we can more fully come unto our Savior.

#6 - Seek quiet, reverent places to hear the Spirit

The Spirit speaks in a still, small voice.

It is not something that you are going to hear if you have loud music playing all day.

If you have the TV going on in the background, if you're in a sports stadium, if you're listening to a concert someplace, all of these things are too loud.

Now, it doesn't mean that the Spirit never speaks in those places.

But as a rule, when you want to come on to Christ, you need to find and create reverent, quiet places where it is much easier for you to hear and distinguish the voice of the Spirit. This way, you can better learn what it sounds like when he's speaking to you.

It's critical to be able to hear this voice and feel promptings if you want to really serve your clients well.

Tips to put these things into practice

Next, there is a particular way to strive to do these six things that will help you get more from your efforts.

First, be diligent.

Be diligent as you're seeking and realize that some of these take time. Receiving is a process. All of your prayers are answered. Some of them are answered immediately and some of them take a little more time.

Second, be humble.

When you are humble as you're seeking, asking and knocking, you will get an answer to everything that you're putting out there and that you're requesting help with. But it might take a little time. We have to be ready to receive the answers and the guidance that the Lord has for us before we will get them.

Ultimately, all of these things to help you come unto Christ involve inviting the Holy Spirit into our lives.

The Holy Spirit is the one who testifies of Jesus Christ as our Savior and as the Messiah.

So you need to look at your life, look at your environment, look at your relationships, and figure out how you can better create those types of situations, which will invite the Spirit.  All of those things will help you, in turn, come unto Christ.

Finally, the end result of coming unto Christ is that you become a better healer!

You're more able to receive impressions and guidance from Him, and your gifts will develop more.

Give yourself time and keep at it. It takes time to implement these changes, but it's well worth the effort.

Come unto Christ to become a better healer

As you continue to move forward day by day, through this process, you will have more peace in your life. You will receive more of the guidance that you are looking for. Your strengths and your abilities as a healer will improve.

You will get better at healing your clients because you have stronger connection with Christ and the Holy Spirit.

That influence from Heavenly Father and from Jesus Christ that can work to and through you.

We need to be vessels that are clean and pure and full of light. The more so that we are, the more the Savior can work through us to bring healing to others.
