Choose faith over fear

 September 13, 2022

Although the past few years, and the coming days, may seem bleak, they will not last. When we choose faith over fear, we can be at peace during tumultuous times.

How this poem was revealed

2020 November...It was a challenging time...my husband was struggling, I was struggling, we weren't sleeping well, and our bodies were hurting. Emotional baggage from the past can cause a lot of physical pains!

I had been doing regular energy work for us both, really wanting to return to a pattern of getting a good night's sleep. That day, I'd done work around unity, and Heavenly Father was guiding me to move forward in my work.

This is part of what he said: "The powers of darkness are ever increasing. It must be so, yet this does make things more difficult. And yet it also presents opportunities. There is so much to do in such short time. Work hard every day. Do good and help others."

That night, as I was blessed to commune with the Lord, I also received this poem.

(I don't write my poems...they come to me as a gift from the Spirit. At all times of the day and night. 🙂  )

We need to choose faith over fear for the upcoming days

True followers of Christ seek for unity. Unity within ourselves, and unity with others. Easy? Definitely not! Especially when others don't want to be unified, but want to rule and reign instead.

There always have been and always will be those who seek for unrighteous dominion. This happens on multiple levels within our society, and throughout the world.

The powers that appear to be in control are not the ones who actually are. I don't encourage you to watch the nightly news. Yet with eyes to see, it's very clear that our freedoms are being eroded, and eroded at an alarming rate.

This poem offers hope and peace at a very challenging time. God reminds us that His will will always be done. If we seek after him, we will be guided by light, even in a dark world.

Who is "I AM?" Exodus 3:14 says, "And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you." (American Standard Version)

The I AM means "to be, to exist." (Strong's Concordance) I AM is life, ever present, always present. When we choose God, we are choosing life.

I AM

The powers that be and the powers that are

Seek to make all one.

But they do so by force and coercion and fear

Instead of following my Son.

Bring forth the Truth, the gales do blow

On men down below, and above.

We will prevail, no matter the hour,

My will shall always be done.

Goodness and mercy and justice and peace

Light the way for all who seek.

They’re never lost, though it feels to them

That these coming days are bleak.

Shine the light forth! Call to the angels!

Who minister to all down below.

Set forth the times, the seasons and days,

The clock shows its hands to be known.

The way is clear, the path has been laid

The prophets have spoken the truth.

The die is cast, its outcome is certain,

No matter the evil intrusion.

Play on! Keep moving! There’s no infarction

The rules are meant to be broken.

The penalty stands and is known in advance,

But the Atonement of Christ is all-inclusive.

Mercy brings peace, death’s an illusion,

And suffering will one day all end.

Keep up, have faith, just look to Me,

I AM, every present, your friend.
